9Double7, A very famous underground rappers of Nepal since 2000.They have recorded 38 songs along with collaboration with artists like Mingma Sherpa,Devika Bandana (Pradhan),Rahul Pradhan & Rhythm A Blend Of culture ,Salomy Gurung,Neemu,Mistah k.(Nepsydaz), Cristina, Buddha N.Shrestha, DMarcha, NSK, (s2s)Shreshan, Nina, Bishow Shrestha, Spadix,Ace,Sarad Singh, LadyRappa-iLLnaniSurasha, Gkaji, Infernal Blaze, Araj Keshav, Badal, Puskar, Bijay Rai & so on. 9double7 also featured in a remix song: “Cha Vaney Maya remix’’ by D-Marcha and released music video last year. From 2000 A.D. they have done 54 concerts at Ktm,Bhaktapur,Dhulikhel,Bicc,Basantapur,Kirtipur,1905, many schools & colleges. Recently they performed in various concerts for Save Music Yatra Team with a message Save Nepali Music Industry. Just they have not come to mainstream yet what they have recently found out that Pukar Bhattarai from UK used their band name 9Double7 as a record company and also released an album by Mr. Kc in U.K.
So, Suraj & Sudhir (9Double7) has just registered their band and launched official website as www.9double7music.com . They also released a collection album Platform(2008)” and collaborated songs in album “Attention (2008) ’’ by Rahul Pradhan. Promo of both album are already on TV Channels. “In this 8 yrs Listener, Supporter, Promoter & all the media knows about 9double7.Last time they had an interview at Image Fm 97.9 & Times Fm 90.6 where they also talked about the copyright of their band name which has been copied/misused by Pukar Bhattarai in U.K. So as soon as they heard it, they worked on album “Nepali Bhayera Hera’’ released on Jan 2009,including 14 songs promoted & supported by babbaal.com and they are also doing some music videos soon.Currently they are busy recording songs and making a music video of “ Nepali Bhayera Hera”. Besides that suraj is working as a freelancer editor for www.babbaal.com, as a Rj, running a musical show in Fm104mhz(Dhulikhel) and looking after his own Hotel in Dhulikhel.
